We visited Key West on a daytrip from a cruise ship, so we had to call upon arrival to reschedule as we were not able to debark on time. Tersely reminded on this call that refunds would not be given, as soon as we could, we set off on an hour-long walk to the listed location. So, cruisers, be aware: 1. This excursion is not near the port, 2. There was no shuttle pick-up offered, and 3. You need to arrive an hour early in order to sign a lengthy waiver. After check-in, we had a lot of time to kill at the pool bar on premises. The guides on site were friendly and personable, offering a secure place to stash personal belongings and providing life jackets. I read several reviews referencing "informative tours" that went "27 miles around the island" and a "great way to see Key West." Our experience was more of a group ride in a not-particularly-scenic area, so I will admit to being disappointed by this misunderstanding. (And why does the listing mention food and drink service?!?) Anyway, we did have fun, even though some mechanical issues with our vehicle dumped us into the drink--twice!--and we weren't the only couple who were dunked. Again, the guides were cool professionals and handled the issues promptly. But this is a fast and choppy ride to keep up with the group and it wasn't easy to stay on the slippery back seat after I was soaked, so when our time was up, we weren't too sorry. Overall, I think it was a fair price for two people, but not for the timid. Given the chance, I would probably opt for an actual TOUR to learn about and see more of Key West. (Cabs not readily available at this location--the valet helpfully recommended we call ourselves an Uber. Haha!)
