Sunset Watersports advertises this JetSki trip to be two hours, and also there’s no mention on the website of taxes and fees being either included or excluded. There is also no mention of tips for guides being mandatory. Our trip was limited to 90 minutes, the guide pressured us before during and after the trip about leaving a nice big tip; and when we got home we found why we weren’t allowed to see or sign the credit card charge slip: Sunset Watersports added $21.60 in so-called fees and taxes that were never explained or advertised. There are a lot of JetSki operators in Florida and especially Key West. If you like one whose motto should be caveat emptor —buyer beware, then sunset water sports is for you.

Our site directly lays out all the errors in your review, leading with the duration of the tour. Our tour is clearly & precisely listed as 90 minutes. We have been the top rated jetski tour in Key West for over 15 years. You can view the exact layout of pricing, taxes/fees throughout the booking process and on all booking screens. Lastly, tipping is never required however our guides definitely appreciate any sort of gratuity our guests give but only would recommend tipping based on their performance. We are going to assume you had an incredible time on the actual tour as you have not pointed out any negative aspects of the actual tour itself.

Jake (BJ) was an unbelievable tour guide over at Cow Key Marina. We were blown away by the amazing tour around Key West. We had an absolute blast flying around on the brand new jet skis. If you’re debating going out on this tour. Do it! The entire staff over at Sunset Watersports was great and you won’t leave disappointed.

Morgan was the best. Super knowledgeable, patient and seemed to really enjoy his job. We had our boat trip cancelled due to winds so we switched to this tour. He was very helpful, trying to keep us in areas that were not as rough and just generally was a great guide pointing out and explaining marine wildlife. Would recommend to friends and family in a heartbeat.
