Swimming with magical giants as they dance and float right in front of your eyes is a truly magical Kona experience!

Our night manta ray snorkel tours begin departing at 6 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. and last about an hour.

Important note:
-Participants must be experienced swimmers and in good health in order to participate.
-Must have basic snorkeling experience.
-Weight Policy: Anyone 260 and over (not to exceed 320) is required to purchase an additional seat.

All participants must be experienced swimmers and have snorkel experience. Children must be 5 and over to board the boat. Due to the type of boat we operate (RHIB) we are unable to allow service animals on board.

50 minutes includes travel by boat time as well

Fantastic experience! Although they were running a bit late, we still received excellent service. The boat was the perfect size for their maximum group of 6. They provide everything you need. The Manta Rays are graceful and majestic as they glide through the water, almost dancing as they feed. They come right up to you, eye to eye and the first time it's a surprise! But you look forward to each pass and the time flies by. Kona adventures is the way to go!

Did this tour our first night on the Big Island. It did not disappoint. Myself, an 18 and a 16 year old went. Very easy to find--all the staff were very kind and helpful. It ended up being only the 3 of us on our tour (max usually 6). We spent about 40 minutes in the water and got to hang out with Queenie who kept coming back to grab some plankton! She did flips and was within "licking" distance of each of us. She toured back and forth between our light board and one beside us. Water was beautiful--wetsuit helped to keep us warm. The longer you are there, the more plankton you can see and then you also get to see nature at it finest, plankton, smaller fish to eat plankton and bigger fish to eat smaller fish. A truly wonderful experience! The Groupon makes it incredibly affordable.

Along with my wife who is afraid of the water we snorkeled with the Manta's. When she got our of the water she thought the adventure was great. There were four Manta's visible through most of our time in the water. They were easy to watch and came very close to us. We interacted with three different people from My Kona Adventures, and all of them treated us great and made us feel comfortable and informed. This was a highlight of our Big Island trip, and definitely recommend it to others. There are several outfitters doing Manta snorkel trips, but after viewing their boats and methods we are happy that we chose My Kona Adventures for our trip.
