This was a fun first time, our guides Ben and Hayden were great. I've read some of the other reviews and it seems like some need to be held by the hand, but that's just me.

Guides were not very helpful. They actually started the tour without us. The company leaves you with older, worn out boats. (Ps. You will have a puddle of water in your boat so bring a water pump or you can use the ones they have in their guide's boats- apparently they know this is going to happen- hmmm 🤔? ). The guides do not care about your skill level. He just assumed everyone was good at it. We had all been kayaking before but this was different territory. We were in a tandem boat and struggling with the paddling out in the wavy busy lake- there was no offer of assistance or guidance on what we were doing wrong or tips on how to help. One guide (who was never introduced- I had to ask him if he was a guide), well he didn’t speak much English so he wasn’t much help. He just floated along in the back with us once he figured out we were part of his group. There was very little direction as to what we were doing/where we were going- or they may have told the rest of the group but we were busy pumping out water and missed that part. When I asked the tour guide to wait for the whole group to catch up before he gave his “speeches” about the lake and on the canyon, he told us he had to keep moving. I guess my money wasn’t as good as the other group members. We were promised an opportunity to swim but that didn’t happen.. and it was something my son and I were looking forward to as the water is crystal clear in some places and it would have been nice to cool off. I could go on but I think you get the point… in summary take your money to another company.

Upon review, we confirmed that you were notified of the correct arrival time at the launch site. Unfortunately, you did not arrive on time, and most of your group had already launched. In such situations, we typically suggest rescheduling, but we made every effort to get you caught up with all necessary regulations and equipment. Due to your late arrival, we provided you with the available boats, all of which are inspected daily for safety and security. While we aim to minimize water in the boats, it’s important to note that this is a water activity. As you mentioned in your review, our guides had water pumps on hand, which is a mandatory item they carry at all times. Our tours are designed to accommodate individuals from diverse backgrounds and cater to kayakers of all skill levels, including beginners. We prioritize guest satisfaction and safety, and our guides adjust the pace of the tour to suit the group's needs. The paddling and hiking activities are manageable and suitable for participants of all ages and fitness levels. At the start of every tour, we conduct a mandatory Introduction to Safety and Operations, where our guides teach clients how to properly paddle. Since you and your group arrived late, we expedited the safety lesson based on your reassurance that you were knowledgeable and required no assistance in catching up with the group. Typically, we offer clients the opportunity to swim, but given the weather conditions that day, we decided not to swim for everyone’s safety. We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced and hope you’ll consider joining us again so we can provide you with a better experience. Thank you again for your feedback.

We had a magical morning on the lake Powell with Ben (06 of August) It was a 4hours tour, enough to discover the lake on a Kayak, and the amazing Antelope Canyon (we walked) I recommend this aventure!!!
