I read reviews, but I am not one to write them. However, because of all the negative Legoland reviews, after my recent visit and stay I felt compelled to write one. Absolutely everything about our trip was perfect. This park was meticulously and beautifully designed by creative individuals and engineers with vision and purpose. The rides were family friendly and fun! The food was delicious and contrary to what I read very affordable. The family of four pack at Pizza and Pasta was only like $49.00 and that included all you can eat pizzas, pastas, salads, beverages and dessert. We stayed in a Ninjago themed room. My grandson screamed like he had lost his mind because after watching the YouTube clips he felt as though it was like a dream come true. Legoland cannot and should not be compared to other theme parks. It was designed for children and adults who love building and creating. If that’s not you or your child then choose a park that suits your desire. You should not come to Legoland expecting a Disney experience and then bash the place because of your misconceptions. When you come to Legoland you will get an exemplary Legoland experience. Every employee and team member I encountered were exceptional. The hotel is designed as a Lego themed hotel not to be compared or contrasted with other hotel amenities. The details will appeal to kids and adults who love Legos. My grandson stayed in the lobby castle until after 11 each night and enjoyed himself playing with other children who loved Legos and were like minded. The arcade is small but he loved that too. The breakfast buffet is very good and we ate in the Bricks restaurant for dinner. They offer a family style dinner for two for like $30.00. Again I say it was a perfect getaway that was worth every cent I spent. My grandson and my niece truly enjoyed it. I am so glad I did not allow the negative reviews to deter me from going. If you have a little Lego lover in your life I encourage you to go and judge for yourself. We loved Legoland!!!
