The name of my tour was "Page: Lower Antelope Canyon Entry and Navajo Guided Tour", and we were with Lamar, on March 21. The views were amazing, there was NO guided tour. They rush you in, and tell you the rules of no backpacks, no video recording, no xyz multiple times to make sure you remember the rules when you're inside the canyon and to keep you safe. There was no mention of the "guided" tour, historical context etc. The goal is to get you in there, let you take a bunch of photos and get you out. It's a monopoly for Ken Tours, and they stack you into different groups of 12-16 people, led by one tour guide (ours was Lamar). And it is a single file line of tourists going down. I left the tour with just as much knowledge as I came in with, with not a single new thing learned. $180 for two tickets is quite a business-making strategy for them. Either way, you have no other choice to see it on your own, so you have to pay them, because they monopolize the entry to the canyon. You have no other choice but to see it this way. The views were amazing. Take all the time you can!

Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m glad you enjoyed the views, but it's unfortunate to hear the tour didn’t meet your expectations, especially regarding the lack of historical context and the structure of the tour. I can understand how the lack of a true guided experience could be disappointing, especially considering the price of Ken's Tours. Thank you for sharing the experience you had with them.
