The Lower Yough's guided/guide escorted tour travels 7.5 miles and travels through 22 class II- class IV rapids. Experience the unspoiled beauty of the Ohiopyle State Park's valleys and ridges. The guides will entertain, provide direction, and give assistance throughout your 5-hour day. Transportation will be provided back to the check in area.

This is the second time that my family went rafting. This was a fun filled and memorable trip. The tour guides are all highly experienced. Our personal guide Shredder Mike who has been rafting guide for the last 17 years was exceptional. He knows the river very well and taught us how to raft safely.

Our group of four thoroughly enjoyed the trip down the Yough. Judd and the other guides were super at explaining the best passage through the more difficult rapids. Highly recommend! And yes, you will get wet!

I would like to write a long review but due not have the time so I will just give a few key facts and leave out some minor gripes. Gripe one why do they not tell you to bring water. Your out in the hot sun rowing your butt off yelling to communicate with your boat mates to be heard over the roaring water. You will have cotton mouth in an hour and it was 3 hours or more in before we were given water and lunch. Gripe two they tell you to balance your raft out by weight but fail to mention to also balance out by the power of your rowers. If you have in shape muscle bound man on the right and a equally heavy but not in shape female on the left your boats is going to head off to one side and not straight ahead. About halfway through our trip I decided I had enough of your guides and there bad advice and stopped listening to them and just did what we knew needed to be done. When we did this we guided our own raft near flawlessly and ironically got several great jobs from the guides. Last several but not all of these guides need to work on their PR skills.
