Welcoming guests to Kauai since 2007, Luau Kalamaku is Hawaii's only luau show performed “in-the-round,” offering optimal views of the stage. Witness the unearthing of the pig from the traditional imu (underground oven) and enjoy a hula lesson. A craft fair featuring unique items by local artisans awaits on the sprawling lawn. Feast on a delicious buffet of local and familiar favorites and enjoy a Mai Tai from the open bar. The main show tells the amazing story of the ancient Hawaiian legend of Kalamaku “child of the new land." Through laughter, fear, seduction and fire, a new legacy is created, born from the cherished seeds of their ancestors. The theatrical luau show culminates with a fantastic fire dream featuring fire poi balls and traditional fire knife dancing.

Great food, booze and entertainment! All 4 of us thought “best luau ever”. The story is riveting and in the round.

The food was good, pork was salty, preferred the chicken. The show was excellent with a interesting story. The Mai Tais were delicious, sadly they ran out of pineapple for the drinks before the dinner started. Enjoyed checking out the artisans prior to the luau.

Our evening at Luau Kalamaku was nothing short of magical, transforming our night into a memorable journey through Hawaiian culture and history. The show itself was absolutely amazing, with a vibrant display of storytelling that captivated us from start to finish. The dancers, with their graceful movements and stunning costumes, were the highlight of the night, embodying the spirit and beauty of Polynesian traditions in every step. Highly recommmned!
