My favorite thing to do when I travel is to get off the well-trodden tourist path. Made in Brooklyn Tours allows you to do just that in New York City. And what better way than with a native who knows many hidden secrets. Dom is born and bred in Brooklyn, and through his tours you will get a glimpse of a part of the city that most tourists never see. I have lived in New York City for more than 20 years and I can tell you I've learned many a new thing. Truly fun, informative and highly enjoyable!

DUMBO - this was my third tour with Dom Gervasi and again, it was a unique, enjoyable and very interesting experience. Meeting all the amazing people and discovering the small and large companies they strive to start and/or keep running, is impressivbe. It is a joy to see how dedicated people are to contribute to keep and make Brooklyn the wonderful place it was and is. Dom's enthusiasm for and knowledge of his home turf is inspiring. He is friendly, enormously generous and has a wonderful rapport with the people of the places one gets to visit on his tours. Dom's humorous way to convey the history of Brooklyn make the tour not just informative but truly enjoyable. I do hope that many more visitors will be inspirred to make their way to Brooklyn and take one or the other "Made in Brooklyn Tour" Thank you Dom for all your efforts and insights. I've taken several Made In Brooklyn tours with Dom. As a Brooklyn native he is incredibly knowledgeable of the neighborhoods he brings you into, from their founding right up to today. He's extremely laid-back, friendly, and accommodating. As a photographer and a maker I've found his tours to be extremely useful in my own work. I look forward to taking several more!
