I can’t rave enough about our day with Kaya at Mahina Adventures. From start to finish it was everything we could have hoped for and more. Started off at a scenic overlook, followed by a hike up Pillbox, quick dip in the ocean across the street to cool off, and then off to lunch at a great food truck spot. After that we headed to a very secluded spot to see sea turtles swimming and eating, then over to learn to surf! This is where Kaya really shined as I was really nervous and my bf was really excited, she taught him the ropes and got him up and moving quickly and then hung back with me in the water. She hyped me up to ride a wave laying down on the board, which was exhilarating(I’m already regretting not trying to stand). Once we were done with that we went and did a few cliff jumps and finished our day with a snorkel. No way we could have even done a portion of this on our own and completely worth it to book with Mahina.

Ryan was amazing. He curtailed our day around activities my husband told him we were interested in. He picked us up from Turtle Bay and our adventures included cliff jumping (which Ryan jumps first to show you how), kayaking and climbing china man’s hat, hiking to waterfalls, and he and my hubs even jumped off of one! He took us to an authentic Hawaiian lunch spot, came prepared with the equipment needed and dropped us back off at our hotel. Ryan came highly recommended from an acquaintance in Houston and we are SO glad we booked the day with him. There is no way we would have found these true Hawaiian treasures without Ryan. He’s like an energizer bunny that could have kept leading more adventures but we were exhausted! Haha. I haven’t been that adventurous in years, and it revived my soul. Even the parts where we were sweating and panting! He also takes awesome GoPro footage and photos of your day, things we will treasure for forever. 10/10 recommend to get an authentic, curtailed, one-of-a-kind experience!!

We spent the day with Kaya and it was awesome. Great adventures and an amazing lunch stop made for a full day of fun. She did a great job of planning a day based on our family's requests. Would highly recommend.
