  • Children under 3 are not permitted
  • Children under 12 must ride in a tandem kayak with an adult
  • If cancelled due to weather or dangerous conditions, you will be offered to reschedule or be provided with a full refund

You could rent kayaks to paddle yourself around the coast of Florida, but it's so much better to have an experienced, knowledgeable biologist and kayaker guide you. We learned about the flora and fauna in and around this body of water, some history and economics, and also had a good time in the sunshine. Even though Rising Tide loaned us a waterproof bag and nobody fell out of their kayak, we left our cellphones in the car, so I'm glad they took photos for us. Should have re-applied sunscreen while we were out there--oops! Cover up as much as you can and get a totally different view of the mangroves than driving past them on your way to the beach.

The guides Tori and Evan were great. The trip was informative and pleasant. Highlights are the mangrove tunnels and a dolphin.

Guides were great! Derek and Kyle were very knowledgeable about the bay, its history and the wildlife . Peaceful trip in nature. Good equipment. Return ride windy, so a bit challenging . Would go again!
