Manta Magic - Nocna fajka Manta Ray w Manta Village, Kona, Hawaje

Przegląd

Avoid the crowds of the other "cattle boats" in Kona, and enjoy a small-group manta ray snorkeling experience with a maximum of 12 passengers.

This tour departs from Keahou Harbor in South Kona and enjoys a short 5-minute boat ride to our snorkeling site, Manta Village.

Your Captain and snorkel guide will educate you on Kona's famous manta rays and will discuss our safe and humane approach to engaging with the gentle giants.

After entering the water, you'll hold onto our lightboard, with your feet propped up by floatation devices, as the manta rays perform a graceful ballet beneath you. The manta rays filter feed on plankton that naturally gathers at the surface just before sunset, then accumulates underneath our lights. This is an opportunity to enjoy an evening on the water and watch in amazement as the manta rays glide around and dance for you.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. We saw 10 manta rays! Although they said that was highly unusual. Staff was very knowledgeable and very organized. Our guide literally knew the Manta Rays by their markings and had names for each of them! The small group size made it much more communal and fun. It was such a magical, lovely experience. After seeing the larger tours around us, so happy we chose this one. Also, the manta rays were literally only hanging out with us, so much so that the other boats all moved over to us Only recommendation is to maybe have some hot chocolate or tea onboard for after the manta rays?

Lexy, Sara, Justin and Carmelle did an amazing job. We stayed at the Outrigger so it was easy to walk to them and they were helpful with instructions on where to be and when. I did a lot of research to pick this company. I wanted a small boat. More of a private experience. I wanted a boat where my kids 7 & 9 could go (they can swim and snorkel) My husband is 6’7 so I needed a boat with a 280 weight limit. I also was afraid some may get seasick so this was nice with only a 3 minute boat ride. This tour was perfect. Checked all boxes and staff was super nice. We learned a lot about the manta rays and saw a ton. The minute we jumped in the water there was a manta ray under our board. Nice snorkel and wet suit. My husband and I thought this was one of coolest things we’ve ever done. Must do on Big Island. My daughter saw some rays and hopped back in the boat. Felt like they took water safety seriously. This is a legit operation.

We had a fantastic time on our Manta Ray night snorkel. The crew was great! We saw a lot of Manta Rays and it was so easy. The leg floats are a great idea! Highly recommend this trip!
