How could one little town have so many "Firsts"! The information was in-depth and yet fun. Each stop along the tour had another exciting moment in time. Lastly, the tour guide, Francis, was top notch. He loves his home town, the people who have come before him, and brings the history of the island to life.

My wife and I took the walking tour and really enjoyed it! Friendly tour guide, and very knowledgeable about the history of Manteo! This is a must do! We will be back and will book again!

Thanks so much! Guiding folks through history since 2003 on Manteo's original walking tour has been a passion of mine. I can't even begin to tell you how many folks like you that have come back year after year! You both are now part of the living history of this very special place.

By far one of the best walking tours we've ever been on! We learned so much about the history of Roanoke Island! We especially loved how personable and friendly Chief D'Ambra is, not to mention how knowledgable he is about Manteo! We HIGHLY recommend checking out his tour!
