This charming piece of history is a must see! Although our tour was self guided, the gracious staff delivered the best informal history lesson. My daughters, ages 11 & 18, both approved!!
From the architecture to the artifacts, this house museum is rich in both African American and American history.
I also recommend visiting Lexington Cemetery, which is only a few minutes away from the Mary Todd Lincoln House. It’s picturesque & home of the world’s largest American Basswood tree. We caught the Cherry Blossoms in bloom. Pictures Galore!
