As a former music industry professional (record producer, engineer, musician) I was really looking forward to this tour! Most everything that happened at Sun happened just before I started being active in the music industry back in the 1960's. Our tour guide Josh H. impressed me with his passion and knowledge of the rich history of this world landmark recording studio. Josh was very personable and took the time after the tour to chat which I also enjoyed. The tour was better than I thought it would be and worth any music fan's visit.

Everything was exactly as I had hoped. The guide Darryl was friendly, enthusiastic and informative. The history of Memphis is so rich (good and bad) with tragedy and triumph. From the Civil Rights Museum to the Peabody Hotel, great food and friendly locals make Memphis a hidden gem worth a long visit.

I keep going back to the same tour. I love it so much,, that this time, i took my family and my parents who grew up in the 50s. We traveled from Az. This tour visit was particularly special thanks to our tour guide Josh H. Beyond seeing the history, being where it happened, and listening to great music, the enthusiasm, energy and passion about the details expressed from Josh made it most memorable. My dad is a big fan of the rock n roll greats and this tour/experience and attention that Josh gave him made our trip!!! He is so smiling a week later. Thank you Sun Studio for keeping this alive and Thank You Josh for loving it as much as your visitors!
