We had met friends in Memphis for a few days, so glad to have the opportunity to spend one day with Larry on his bus touring the City, seeing the sites. The Lorainne Motel was one of our favorite stops, along with historic homes and of course Central BBQ!

Bus tour itself was okay but supposed to be 4 hrs long, which seemed like a fair amount of time for the price. Although it started on time at 10, it ended at 12. We were told to spend the last 2 hrs of the tour figuring out what to do on our own. Due to limited options in the area and the time we had to be back for the boat portion, we ended up paying another $50+ to tour a museum. The tour company called us 40 min earlier and told us to stop whatever we were doing and return immediately to the meet-up place because the bus to the boat was going to leave early. We spent well over an hour waiting in line in steep dock waiting to board. The actual boat tour was to be 2 hrs but they packed us in like sardines, we got about 25 min of tour guide info and the actual time ‘touring’ was 40 minutes shorter than it was advertised to be.
