Your expert guides will lead you on a journey across Mendenhall Lake where you will paddle together with a small group past icebergs, giant waterfalls, and wildlife. On your way to the ice, you will be surrounded by breathtaking scenery of mountain peaks nestled in the Tongass National Forest. Upon landing the canoe at a remote beach site, your guides will safely lead you on an interpretive hike around the rocky surfaces located directly in front of the glacier. This tour was amazing! Shayla + Ryley were awesome guides - very informative, accommodating and fun! This was a great balance of physical activity with great views and information. I would highly recommend this tour.

We had the best time! A small group experience (there were 3 of us total in the group). Sophie and Molly were our guides and were very knowledgeable, funny and so nice. We had a great paddle and little hike even taking some time to look for gold, pyrite, and garland in the rocks. They also gave us great recommendations for restaurants, bars, hikes, and other things to do around Juneau. This tour company is small, local and does not have any affiliation with any of the cruise lines making it perfect for the personalized experience you are looking for. I highly recommend this tour.

Just got back from an absolutely breathtaking visit to the glacier via canoe! Our guides Biko and Ryley were spectacular - Capable, knowledgeable and tons and tons of fun. Everything you could want for an experience like this, from helping us get our gear on to getting us all rowing whether we were experienced or not. They made us laugh, got us into an adventurous spirit, and were all-around just very friendly and personable. Best of all, they were fantastic and experienced at what they do so I always felt like we were in very good hands out there. The trip itself is magnificent. Even though the glacier has receded in recent years and stepping on it is not currently safe, we were able to get incredibly close. It's worth noting that the whole excursion is gorgeous from start to finish, not just the glacier itself. I can already say this will be a lifelong memory. If you can make this trip with Biko and Ryley for your guides you are going to have a stupendous time you'll never forget.
