Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children 13 to 17 must have a signed parental consent form to participate without a parent or guardian.
Client must be able to use upper body strength to paddle kayak approx. 2 hrs
Guests taller than 6' 3" will not be able to steer with foot pedals and will have to steer with the oar instead. You may still participate, it is just an item to take into consideration when choosing the tour.
Minimum weight: 40lbs
Maximum weight dependent on waist size to fit into kayak cockpit 16.5" X 10". Approximately 275lbs
Gloves and an extra pair of socks are recommended.
Tour is weather dependent.

Payton was spot on as our tour guide to kayak near the Mendenhall Glacier. She answered all our questions & ensured we all had a great time! Thanks for Payton for contributing to memories that will have for a lifetime!

Trent and Nick were awesome tour guys. They gave great instructions on how to put on our outfit and how to use the Kayak. They were very knowledgeable of the glacier and the surrounding area. They gave us plenty of breaks to rest our arms and take great pictures. This was my favorite excursion I have done. Thank you Nick and Trent for an awesome experience. The Salmon bake was amazing too! You get greated right off the van with a cup of clam chowder soup and the Salmon fresh off the fire with this amazing glaze. They have an beautiful waterfall to see has well.

We had a great time on this Kayak excursion. Our guides Taylor and Trent were awesome and gave us great instructions. The Salmon Bake was also delicious. We highly recommend Taylor and Trent to give you a great experience while on your vacation.
