Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Children 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children 13 to 17 must have a signed parental consent form to participate without a parent or guardian.
Client must be able to use upper body strength to paddle kayak approx. 2 hrs
Guests taller than 6' 3" will not be able to steer with foot pedals and will have to steer with the oar instead. You may still participate, it is just an item to take into consideration when choosing the tour.
Minimum weight: 40lbs
Maximum weight dependent on waist size to fit into kayak cockpit 16.5" X 10". Approximately 275lbs
Gloves and an extra pair of socks are recommended.
Tour is weather dependent.

We hadn’t kayaked before, so it was a little challenging, but the views were worth it! Megan and Kary were wonderful guides! Definitely worth the visit!

We booked this excursion through Royal Caribbean & it went off without a hitch. It was easy to find the guides when we got of the boat & everyone we were with throughout the day was great! We had Ron & Tom as drivers & Clay & Sequoia were our guides while kayaking. Everyone was very welcoming & it was a great day. We hadn't kayaked in 11 years so we were a little worried but it was easy to do and it just long enough that when you got back you we were ready to be done but also felt like you'd enjoyed the day. I'm glad we did the salmon bake lunch with it because it was good food, good entertainment (there is a guy playing & singing music while you eat) and the entire area is very nice. There is a nice waterfall not far from the pick-nick tables & they have a fire for s'mores too. This was a great excursion & I'd recommend it to anyone porting in Juneau.
