On our Secret Food Tours: Little Havana in Miami, you’ll taste a mix of innovative and traditional dishes deriving from the old Caribbean heritage.

During the tour, you’ll discover Miami’s Cuban community history, habits, music and lifestyle. We’ll take you to the oldest open air tropical fruit market in Little Havana, where you can enjoy some fresh tropical juice.

You will sample traditional Cuban coffee and pastries. You’ll have the opportunity to visit a tobacco shop, learning how to roll a proper Cuban cigar. You will visit landmark Little Havana sites and end the tour with a traditional, family style meal in a hidden courtyard right on Calle Ocho.

• 3 to 3 ½ hours guided food tour of the area with 5 stops

We were two couples. The tour with Natalia was excellent, not just for the food but for her wealth of information on the food and the history she imparted. The walk took about 4 hours. It was an easy leisurely walk. Along the way inbetween restaurants natalia gave us architectural histoy as well as food history. She was informative and entertaining. The food we had was excellent at each stop. Our hands down favorite was the first restaurant. But each was wonderful. This tour was the best. All four of us highly recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed with this tour. It was wonderful

Natalia was a super friendly, welcoming and informative tour guide. I debated between this tour and another I saw listed, however I went for this one because it seemed more off the tourist path and it turned out to be a great decision. The food was amazing (I was definitely more than full by the end) as were the locations and I learned a ton from Natalia on the tour. Thank you so much for a great evening!

Natalia hosted a fun and delicious tour of Miami. I was a former local rediscovering old secrets and my partner was seeing a hidden side of Miami for the first time. I'm glad we persisted in spite of a rainy night: we both enjoyed the delectable flavors of authentic Carribbean cuisine and contemporary specialties she showed us. It was fun to learn about the history of the dishes as well as the city. I recommend this for beginner and expert foodies.
