The catamaran was large, so if you are concerned about seasickness, don't be - it was a windy day and we didn't go far from shore. The boat had plenty of room in the large inside cabin and outside deck to comfortably hande about 40 people. However, we only saw one whale that surfaced about 50 yards from the boat...the whales were out there and we puttered around for 2 hours. I had higher expectations but probably due to past whale watching experiences off the Maui coast. The crew was good, and served snacks and beverages as part of the pp price. They did pick us up and drop us off at our hotel in Waikaloa.

Trip was amazing. Great time of year (feb). We saw lots of whales, spinner dolphins and a hammerhead shark. My daughter loves it! Crew was top notch.
