Have a great time in Atlanta’s thriving foodie scene on an fun walking food tour complete with alcohol/food pairings and eat like a local at well-known establishments and hidden gems. Our small groups of 4-15 guests create an intimate, boutique experience (leave the herding to the farmers!) and get you closer to your entertaining foodie host, restaurant partners and your fellow food enthusiasts. Dine on a mix of Southern classics and cuisine unique to beloved Midtown. The progressive meal is enough for lunch or dinner with the added benefit of learning Atlanta's history and local tidbits that will make you feel more acquainted to Atlanta in a short 3 1/2 hours.

I would highly recommend this food tour to those visiting the Atlanta and those who call it home. The food was delicious and unique. Our tour guide John was very accommodating and FUN! I rode my bike to the starting point and he provided me a safe place to store my bike. John is very knowledgable about local restaurants as well as other great sights to see around town and more importantly when to see them. I am planning on taking John's night tour in December because of how much I enjoyed my first experience.

Ha! I still laugh when you told me that you would be showing up on a bike! "John, where can I park this?" That was a first...and I've been doing Food Tours for awhile! Jessica, Thanks for your lovely review! Who knew that a "tasting" adventure in Midtown Atlanta would be so much fun...and quite the pleasant break from classes! TA readers: Jessica also had a comment during our walk-about that is worth repeating. She has been in Atlanta for several months now, new to my city, working on an advanced degree, and said, "Gosh, I wish I had done this when I first got here. I had no idea what Midtown had to offer!" Yep! Go on a Food Tour the first chance you get. Not only a hands-on experience with lots of restaurants but your guide will have lots of other city tips and advice. So...Jessica...I'll be looking for you in December! Give me a buzz! Sweet discounts for repeat guests! Even free bike parking! My best! John

I have to admit - I am VERY hard to impress. I cannot adequately express just how amazing this food tour was. When it was over, I felt like a little kid who had just gotten off of an amusement park ride saying, "I wanna go again!!!" The food was as good as I have had anywhere, and each stop impressed even more than the last, but what made this food tour one of the best things I have EVER done in Atlanta, was our leader, John. You see, I am a local. I drive on Peachtree every day of my life, but I have never walked it, and I've never taken the time to get to know it. Through John's stories and historic perspective, I could see this beautiful part of the city over a century ago as it once was: Proud at times, vulnerable at others, but mostly resilient and now thriving. If you do only one thing while you are in Atlanta....do THIS. If you are a local, be a tourist for just one day. You will appreciate our city so much more after. I can't wait to take my family when they come visit over the holidays!

Wow, Julie! What a fabulous "local" review! When Atlantans are on my Tour my favorite comment is "I didn't know that!" or even better is the acknowledgement that Peachtree Street is a whole lot more fun when you're...walking!! You were an absolute treat to watch as each stop became the "best" stop...until the next stop! More than once I heard you exclaim, "This is amazing!" I love my neighborhood and to watch you grow in your appreciation for my little piece of paradise was a joy!! Let's do this again...and soon! My best always! John

My boss tasked me with finding a fun and different team building event for our small company. From the moment I first spoke with John Hannula (owner/tour guide) on the phone, he made me feel that he, himself, couldn't wait to put this excursion together for our larger-than-usual crew. Most of us are Atlanta natives (or long-time residents) but, even so, the food and stories were AMAZING and served to make us fall in love all over again with our great city! It was a great atmosphere to get to know one another better and John even took the time to memorize our names ahead of time and set the tone to make everyone feel at home. INCREDIBLE food. Incredible tour guide. Will go back in a second and heartily recommend John, Jeri and Peachtree Food Tours to everyone from tourists to residents. Company events can be so stuffy and awkward ... this was anything but. THANK YOU, John, for a great Saturday out and about!! You might get sick of seeing us in the future :) We already have plans for family, clients, parties, etc.

Thank you, Amy! I have done a number of team-building Tours and they are always a blast! Lots of food and lots of fun always seems to create lots of little conversations! And that's a great reason to get employees together, particularly when your company is so new. THANKS!! for the shout-out to my sweet Jeri!! Your group of 14 was my largest so I had to call for help! My restaurants knew we were coming but nothing like a scout going ahead of us to make sure all went well. You folks were so gracious to Jeri...and learned quickly why I talk about her so much on our little adventure. She's the best!! I'd love to see you and your family/friends in December as I launch my new "Night Tours". During the holidays Peachtree Street really comes to life, making the stroll through my neighborhood quite the evening! Then there's the food...and the "sips"...and all those stories...that are mostly true! :)
