Our small groups of 4-15 guests create an intimate, boutique experience (leave the herding to the farmers!) and get you closer to your entertaining foodie host, restaurant partners and your fellow food enthusiasts. Dine on a mix of Southern classics and cuisine unique to beloved Midtown. The progressive meal is enough for lunch or dinner with the added benefit of learning Atlanta's history and local tidbits that will make you feel more acquainted to Atlanta in a short 3 1/2 hours.

You know when someone raves about a movie and without fail it's never as good as the buildup? Well this tour does NOT follow that pattern. John's tour came highly recommended by a friend and he did not disappoint. We laughed. We ate. We learned things we never knew about Atlanta and we dined in spots we had never been before. A total value and a memorable time by all. We were a mixed group of locals and out of towners and each one of us had a fabulous experience. John makes the tour. He is funny and personable, but also knowledgeable and passionate. Highly recommend!

J. That's a terrific review! Thanks! "We laughed! We ate! We learned!" And that you did! Especially the "laugh" part! You had asked if I would consider a "Tour at Night" and off we went! I thought that it went so well that I now offer evening tours in December. I'd love to show off my Peachtree Street when the Holidays lights are at their finest. Now that you have had the grand Tour of my Midtown neighborhood, don't be a stranger! The December Tours of the Fox Theater are spectacular! And then there are all those new restaurants you discovered!! My best to you...and your whole gang!

I booked a tour with John for my daughter's 18th birthday. He set it all up and was able to handle a group of 9 16-18 year old girls. John was sweet enough to change a couple of stops on the tour to accommodate an entire group of non-drinkers. The girls had a blast. Most of them had never done a food tour and they thought it was a very unique and fun way to spend an afternoon. We can't wait to take the tour with our adult friends now. John did a super job and it is a great way to see some sights in Atlanta.

Thanks, Diane! My past experience as a Dad of three teenage boys...and having taught High School, made for a lot of fun for all of us! What a wonderful group of funny, well-behaved young ladies! And...you were spot on with the unique "surprise" birthday gift as a Food Tour! It's sometimes hard to figure out what makes for a meaningful gift and 4 hours with C.'s girlfriends created some wonderful quality time together. With 10 phones taking photos (lots of selfies!) there certainly is plenty of proof that there was a lot of food and fun! Thanks again for trusting me to provide a memorable Sunday afternoon! Next up? An adult Tour for C.'s parents...and bring some friends! My best! John

I have been on a few food tours around the world, and what sets John's apart is... John! He knows the history, the people and of course the food. I liked the fact we had to walk through the history with him, and of course the food was tasty and with meaning. I went back to one of the restaurants for dinner late that evening and had another brilliant meal (picture of the lobster - not part of the tour) which I would have never had otherwise. Do the tour early in your trip to Atlanta and your trip will be richer for it!

D. - Always a pleasure to have visitors to Atlanta on my Food Tour, even when you live 20+ hours away...by plane! And...always a treat to have a guest that has been on any number of Food Tours around the world!
