This tour of Monument Valley with M V Safaris exceeded our expectations, mainly due to our guide Roderick who was so friendly and imparted lots of information. He even sang some typical Navajo songs accompanying himself on a drum. We were in a small group with three other couples on the tour ( which was the 2 1/2 hrs one) and it was the highlight of our time in M V. Thank you Roderick.

I prefer to create my own schedule and tours for day hikes in this type of park, however, we were very pleased that we signed up for the Monument Valley Safari tour of the south valley. This was a terrific addition to our self guided hike on the Wildcat Trail and our drive on the Valley Drive. We did the latter on Day 1 and this Guided Tour the morning of Day 2. Our tour guide, Bobby, gave us a great tour with a lot of Navajo insights and even a short flute concert under one of the arches. If you are wondering if this tour is worth it, it certainly is. There is no better way to get immersed into this beautiful place.

Hello we had a great day. The guide, who is named Duffy, had a lot to tell us about the valley and the culture of the Navaho living in the Valley. The ride was comfortable and fun as you are brought in the back country of the valley for a unique tour.
