Mush Your Own Dog Team (trasa letnia /jesienna)

This is the only place in Alaska where you can mush your own team of dogs in the summer!

This is not a just a tour kennel; it is the training grounds and homestead of 4-time Iditarod champion, Dallas Seavey. All the dogs are either retired racing dogs (many have won the Iditarod), are currently on the race team, or are the next generation in training to become the next great champions! Our dogs are active and training year-round. As a guest musher here, you become part of Dallas Seavey Racing's year-round training program.

The group size for this experience is usually 6 or less people, with a guide assigned to each group, creating a very personal experience.

All of our dogs are extremely friendly, and love attention. Cuddle puppies, romp with young dogs, or walk with champions.

Amazing experience! The staff were great, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience great and memorable . Can’t recommend this experience enough. Even though we were there on a rainy day, it was one of the best experiences we had on our trip to Alaska. Hope to go back and do it on snow!!!

We could not have been more pleased with our experience with AK sled dogs! What a unique opportunity to see the dogs love for racing, get to know more about their kennel and what it’s like during the Iditarod. As soon as we were finished, we wanted to do it again!
