Even though I typically balk at touristy things such as this, my husband talked me into it and I'm SO glad he did. Our tour guide's name was "Big E" or the "Touring Teddybear" and his memorable sense of humor blended with deep personal and historical knowledge of Savannah truly a fun and educational experience. We learned so much about Savannah, past and present. Highly worth it.

The day we were in Savannah it rained so instead of being an on off tour, we took the total tour twice with two different drivers. It was so fun. The drivers were incredibly informed, could answer any question and added an entertaining commentary to the day. We had actors jump off and on and playing various personalities gave us an inside look at the history of a great city. This company has won awards for their tours and we can see why. We will be going back to take other tours and will always look to them for the best experience.

We had heard such great things about these tours so wanted to take them. We chose the Historic overview tour, which had 16 stops. We made 13 of them and saw only two characters. The promotional material implies at least 5, maybe more. Also, our guide was rather lackluster. We heard other persons rave about their guides, so I think it all depends on who you get, but I couldn't recommend doing the historic overview.

We are sorry to hear that your experience with us was not so positive. We strive to provide a fun and informative tour, with as many characters as possible. We try to at least have 3 characters per tour. However, sometimes, as was the case with your tour, there were only two. We are also sorry to hear that your guide was not very enjoyable. We enable our guides to showcase the city in their own way and not read from a script. We hope that you will try us again next time you're in Savannah.
