Day trips meet at 9 AM and include a riverside catered lunch break at the halfway point. Short on time? Try the Afternoon Express run, meeting 3 PM daily.

Wonderful experience all round. Excellent management and logistics - thanks to Chris the driver - safe but exciting - good safety instructions and attention to detail all hugely enjoyable. Good lunch. Chapeau to Ace rafting for employing a high percentage of female guides. Our guide, Chloe, was experienced, and an excellent and knowledgeable communicator. Above all she was a first rate pilot, threading us down through the rapids with accuracy and a great sense of enjoyment. A safe pair of hands who gave us a wonderful day of adventure. Hard to fault the experience in any way. It's a busy and successful business so book ahead. Memorable in so ma y ways. Once out on the river and being the sweeper raft we had plenty of time to enjoy the magnificent scenery and to chat with Chloe, her sense of humor evident and enjoyable.

After researching for our trip I decided to go with a smaller company and wasn’t disappointed. We had a total of 7 people with guide Patrick. We had never been white water rafting before and are a bit older so decided on the Upper Gorge. River was low the day we were there so probably could have handled the lower gorge. However, you never know. Our group had a nice time together and it didn’t feel like a cattle call . Was personal and safe. Patrick who was born and raised in the area had a lot of local stories and history to share. We would use them again if in area. Only Con: was that we only had 3 people but had to pay for 4. ( I see this a lot with tour companies) Although I am used to it , I feel it is just a way to make a little extra money.

Glad you all had a great time with Pat. I am sorry to hear that you all payed for four spots. companies do have a four person charge minimum online incase it is a single boat trip in order to cover costs but if we are able to combine groups we have them just pay for the people they have. If you give our company a call in the future or talk to a manager on the day we would love accommodate for groups like yours better in the future.

Benji was awesome! We highly recommend!!! He was super knowledgeable and safe but so fun!! We took our family with five kids ages 11 to 19. Weather was perfect, scenery was amazing! One of my daughters was apprehensive at first, but ended up, loving every second of it! A great way to spend our day in West Virginia!! We will definitely be back!!
