Our guide was very knowledgeable and it was so interesting to hear the history behind some of the unique homes. Unfortunately it rained steadily the entire time. We found out we could have made arrangements to reschedule for the next day, but that was not at all what the fine print said when we purchased the tickets online.
Interesting tour. Learned a lot about the area and our tour guide Nina, was very knowledgeable and funny. Be prepared to do a lot of walking though. It was July and we were soaken wet. Bring water and a cooling towel if in summer and good walking shoes. YOu can take the streetcar down to the bookstore. We tried walking from Bourbon street and it was along walk through some areas that might not be real safe.
Tim was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about New Orleans in general and the garden district in particular. This tour took 2 hours and covered about 2 miles. We visited on a hot July day. Water was available at the start of the tour and Tim provided a fan.
