This neighborhood and its cemetery tells the story of New Orleans from the Louisiana Purchase to the Civil War. Stunning antebellum mansions, lush gardens, unforgettable stories, and beautiful photo opportunities await! We keep our group size under 12 guests to make in a fun, personal experience.

James was GREAT! Very knowledgeable, major facts and trivial tidbits. He made asking questions feel comfortable AND welcome. We walkef and talked and learned and LAUGHED! (Ask him to tell you about Sandy)I'm a Louisiana native but my friends are from CA. We all learned things and had a great time. Anytime I have friends come for a visit, I will request James.

I am going to ask James about Sandy! I can't believe I just uncovered this jewel of a review - from the last few days before the world changed. Thank you so much for leaving it! We are back in the Garden District, and James is still making them laugh!
