This neighborhood and its cemetery tells the story of New Orleans from the Louisiana Purchase to the Civil War. Stunning antebellum mansions, lush gardens, unforgettable stories, and beautiful photo opportunities await! We keep our group size under 12 guests to make in a fun, personal experience.

Josh gave us a great Garden District tour this morning. His passion for the history and architecture and culture of New Orleans was amazing. Highly recommended.

Thank you for the review and recommendation! Josh really loves the city he now calls home, and it really shows in the way he tells our stories to his guests. "Passion" is a good word for it, because he keeps learning more and more about all the details and stories of this unique place. I am so happy that you were able to walk with him through the Garden District, and hopefully gain a deeper appreciation of our culture, history, and architecture. During our morning walking tour of the Garden District we saw and heard many other tours. Ours was the best by far. We had a small group and our guide, Josh, was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and gave us lots of interesting info along with some photos from his bag. We learned a lot about NOLA, architecture, and the Garden District. If you’re looking for a Garden District your, this is the one!

Yes! This is the one! Thanks for this excellent review of your Garden District tour with Josh. He does have that "wonder bag" of perfect pictures to punctuate his perfect stories. Josh was excellent! Very knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all of our questions and even gave us directions to another house that we wanted to see.

Thanks for reviewing your Garden District tour! We really appreciate every guest, but we appreciate the ones who leave excellent reviews even more! Josh is a great tour guide and begins every tour by asking his guests what they would like to see and learn about, then customizes his tour. And when we can't quite make it to every location our guests want to see (like Beyonce' and Jay Z's house or the American Horror Story: Coven house), we can point them in the right direction so they can get those awesome vacation selfies!
