This neighborhood and its cemetery tells the story of New Orleans from the Louisiana Purchase to the Civil War. Stunning antebellum mansions, lush gardens, unforgettable stories, and beautiful photo opportunities await! We keep our group size under 12 guests to make in a fun, personal experience.

Josh was really knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He even had visuals to enhance the experience, which allowed a peek inside some of these magnificent homes. Would recommend the tour highly. Ask for Josh!

This was a great tour. The right amount of history and fun facts. The bonus is it is a very small group and James was very entertaining.

Thanks for recognizing a few of the things that get Lucky Bean our great reputation - a mix of fun and history, and small groups! James has only ever worked for Lucky Bean Tours, so he never had to "unlearn" the formal, scripted tours that some companies prefer. While some people feel more comfortable on a tour that is predictable, scripted, and described in detail in advance, we prefer to create a tour when we meet our guests based on what they are interested in - and our guests love it too! Please load up some questions for your next visit while James stalks the Garden District for more great stories! Libby

We took a tour of the Garden District, with Jackie. And it was AMAZING! she is so great and so informative. She even stayed 30 minutes later and talked to us about good places to eat and visit while we were staying there for the weekend! Would recommend Jackie and this tour everytime!

Jackie takes full advantage of all this city has to offer - she costumes at Mardi Gras, enjoys all the restaurants, reads voraciously, and talks to everyone she meets everywhere she goes!
