This neighborhood and its cemetery tells the story of New Orleans from the Louisiana Purchase to the Civil War. Stunning antebellum mansions, lush gardens, unforgettable stories, and beautiful photo opportunities await! We keep our group size under 12 guests to make in a fun, personal experience.

Our tour guide, Josh did a great job. He was relaxed, personable and very knowledgeable. Used some visual aids that were helpful too.

I’ve lived in the New Orleans area for a couple years but this was my first walking tour of the Garden District. It was nice to learn the history behind some of the beautiful homes I walk by on a regular basis! Josh was an excellent tour guide; very knowledgeable and very personable! Being in a smaller group was also a great perk... a lot of the french quarter tour groups are so large, it’s sometimes hard to hear the guide or get the chance to ask questions.

A great review from a local! We know how proud New Orleanians are of this fantastic city, so it means even more. Josh is a great guide and , although we always strive to give out guests a great general understanding of New Orleans culture and history, we also like to dig deeper and tell the stories that not every tur guide tells. This was a great small group walking tour. Jackie was very friendly and knowledgeable. The houses in this area are so beautiful, but are even more interesting with the history and stories from a guide. I would definitely recommend this walking tour.
