This was the worst bus tour we’ve ever been on. I’ve been on bus tours in most major cities and this was horrible. The “tour guide” was recorded audio that usually played way before or way after the actual landmark. We went by the Flatiron building and the horrible recorded message didn’t even mention it. There was actually very little actual information in the recorded guide and it often repeated itself. Replaying an audio recording of New York songs doesn’t help. I should have know the day was going to be bad at the first stop. The staff that was there had to re-count the people on the bus three times and it took forever to get started. It was 4-21, so maybe the staff was recovering from 4-20! The smell of pot was everywhere on 4-20. The bus was reasonably nice. The sound system delivering the horrible recorded guide, worked reasonably well enough. However, you should avoid this tour, it’s really bad and not worth the money. You might as well hop on the MTA bus.

I purchased tickets so my granddaughter and I could just ride around and see the city. We were told by the employee who sold us our tickets that the entire tour we purchased would be just an hour and a half and would bring us back to the same stop we started on which was near our hotel. It was enjoyable at first even though the PA system never worked. Three hours later we were still on the bus due to the frequent stopping and sitting and waiting for people to get on and get off. I started to get really worried that we were going to miss a ticketed event that we absolutely could not miss (my grandson was performing at Carnegie Hall that evening) when we stopped somewhere near Times Square and other employees got on and shut down the bus while they proceeded to "reboot the PA system". When I asked what was happening, they were very rude. When I asked how long we would be sitting there, they ignored me. We finally had to get off of the bus and walk back to our hotel which was not easy for me because I have mobility issues and use a cane. We barely made it back in time. I would not recommend unless you have unlimited time and are willing to sit on the bus and wait at every stop.
