The following details my experiences during the recent solar eclipse weekend, on the “Power of Niagara—the American Story” tour…..This is the first time I have been sufficiently motivated to write a review—of any kind—on TripAdvisor.
In my many trip experiences as a solo traveller, there have been many companies (and people) who have gone way above and beyond the call of duty to make my vacations hassle-free and enjoyable.
And then, there are a small handful which go even above *that* standard to create a truly magnificent, one-of-a-kind experience.
Such the case with Gray Line in Niagara Falls, and in particular, their bus driver and tour guide, Chris.
While the exact circumstances are not important, let’s just say a ‘trip planning glitch’—entirely on my part— created an issue I was having difficulty solving…Not good when you are miles away from home and traveling alone in a place you are not very familiar with.
Chris went above and beyond—and then some—to help with my particular issue and remove all worry.
Thank you, again, to Gray Line, and Chris……I cannot stress this enough.
The tour itself was very informative—all questions and curiosities were answered, and the dialogue between tour guide and riders made for a very educational experience. Not to mention all other traveller needs were accommodated, including my particular issue. Counter is easily found in the Niagara welcome center, just walk right in, and there it is on the right side—and someone there points you to where you wait for the tour bus to arrive. I had to make a small change, also, prior to the day of the tour, and it, too, was resolved perfectly by Nikki on the phone.
Looking forward to returning sometime soon and will not hesitate to try out other offerings by this great company.
