What if we don’t see any mantas? It is an extremely rare occurrence, but if we do not see ANY manta rays on our Night Manta Experience, you are welcome to come back out with us again during the same vacation, based on availability, totally free of charge. Make sure you call us right away so that we may reschedule you! Non-refundable and non-transferable.
NIGHT MANTA EXPERIENCE:

Please read and understand the manta guarantee : Manta Guarantee: If zero manta rays are seen, you are welcome back out again. Itʻs that simple. We are fortunate to see mantas almost every night, but on the rare occasion where none are sighted on your tour, Sea Quest invites you to come back out on another night at no additional cost to you, or on a confirmed afternoon snorkeling adventure at no additional charge. No refunds available.

I had an amazing time with my 8 year old son. We saw many beautiful mantas and had an experience we will remember the rest of our lives. It was a choppy night so I was thankful we were both competent swimmers and ok being tossed around in the waves in the dark. Getting in and out of the water with the choppy water was probably the toughest part for my 8 year old and he was a little nervous, but the crew was great and made him feel like a superstar for powering through. It was the highlight of his trip. The crew and entire operation was very professional and organized. The staff were all friendly and very knowledgeable about the mantas in every way. Both in the water and on the boat I felt very safe. I will note that there were a few participants with our small group who didn’t seem able to swim at all. They really struggled and seemed terrified, not able to put their faces in the water and kept trying to climb on top of the light raft. The in-water staff handled it well and kept them (and us from them) safe, but I would only recommend this tour to very confident swimmers. Those who can’t swim (and lie about it on the waver) should expect a miserable experience and will be putting themselves at risk.

Great experience! A do not miss. The manta rays did not disappoint! Sea Quest has a dedicated building to their company and it is convenient to lock up gear/ towels which is helpful. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly! Excellent!

Have to know how to swim a bit because there is a little ocean current but you do hold onto a light board while viewing! At night because the light on the boards attract the plankton food source for Mantas. Mantas get within 2 inches of you and touching them is a no no could it could get them sick.South Kona by Outrigger Hotel as this is the original spot for viewing these beautiful, gentle creatures. Longer drive for us but only an easy 5 min boat ride to viewing sight. Company is well established, licensed boat, & super safe. Clean newer boat, wetsuits, snorkels, all great. Captain Nick and crew were safe, organized and knowledgeable about Manta rays. Only in water viewing for 30-40 min. which is standard for all companies and enough time. Saw 4-6 different Mantas several passes. Price was reasonable and worth going with a dependable company. Gotta to experience once…super cool, warm in water, a fantastic time. I’m 64, decent shape and enjoyed it. It is definitely for a person that can be calm in the water. My hubby approved of the company and he is careful to find quality companies. Thank you Seaquest for the thrill.
