The instructor Ben was super helpful and patient while going over the safety information and when experiencing the discover scuba dive program. Will definitely recommend to any friends or family planning to visit Panama City Beach, Florida! Thanks again Ben!

I gave my team a Discover Scuba experience with Ben from Panama City diving. I’ve done a number of dives with Ben before so I knew it was going to be a great experience for my team and it was. They had an amazing time at Vortex Springs. Ben was great with everyone, but especially one colleague who was anxious and needed some extra handholding. He knew just how to handle it and she is excited to come back and get certified. I’ve been out a lot with Ben and the crew at Panama City Diving and it’s always been fantastic. Highly recommend.

Walter and the staff at PCD were great. My wife and I stopped in early to check out the shop before our excursion and we purchased masks that fit our faces perfectly. Walter helped us fill out paperwork and went over SCUBA basics in the classroom before we left to go to the beach. Once at the beach we had an additional review of SCUBA basics in the water. After everyone in the group was comfortable and completed the basic requirements (breathing underwater, finding a dropped regulator, clearing your mask, etc) we began diving and following Walter underwater. Walter is a great teacher and instills confidence in the students with his calm demeanor and patience. They say you'll never forget your first breaths underwater. I believe this saying is true. Thankfully with Walters guidance, my first breaths are a positive memory and will likely lead to becoming certified once time allows. I would recommend this excursion to anyone interested in SCUBA but has not found the time to dedicate to becoming certified.
