Enjoy a beautiful scenic intermediate tour hiking along the coastline of the North Shore of Oahu with panoramic views of the Mountain and Ocean sides. At the top of the hike, there is a nice picnic table to sit at, giving a beautiful view of the North Shore. There is also an awesome rope swing that you can swing off of overlooking the lookout of the North Shore.

Hiked up with the owner of the company. He kept rushing our family (the only ones in the group) and wouldn't stop. A little like a taskmaster that just kept going even when we asked him to slow down. Our littlest child (6) was pretty slow and kept falling behind. He just kept pushing and pushing us, until the little kids started to cry because of his pace. It wasn't a very good experience and he just wasn't sensitive to our family and the pace of children. The whole way up he kept taking family photos and told us he would send them all to us with a slide show. He never did. He had all of our information and still didn't.

Aloha We had a great time on our hike and now to hear you didn’t have a good time is surprising. We tried to get ahold of you to do your pictures and we still have them showing how great of a time you had. And your son following right behind me on the trail. Not sure how that was rushing you guys. He also happened to stumble and that is what upset him. I’ve had nothing but great reviews for myself and our company and don’t find this to be true whatsoever. I’d be more then happy to send your photos showing the amazing time you guys had and your youngest son being a trooper hiking right behind me all in front of you guys. I also was being encouraging as a tour guide should to help get you through the tour and never once was told to slow down. It’s a 3 mile hike finished in two hours. And we did just that. PRO'S: Easy to book and you can do it online; tour guide is there on time, tried to give info's on foliage and birds we see as well as the views/places as far as we can see; the tour guide also sent us pictures she took during the hike through text messaging which I found to be thoughtful and a good initiative on the part of North Shore tour company. CONS: For $75/person for a 3-mile back-and-forth walk, my family with youngsters would rather go to Waimea Valley for less than $20/person (will even pay less for kids & students). This particular hike will just give you a view of the ocean but from miles away; I'm saying this because I watched a video (not sure now if it's from North Shore official site) showing people hiking close to the shore and jumping into the water. This is probably with the longer hike but definitely not the Beginner's hike.

tour guide was very knowledgable and was pointing out lots of things on the hike. Some people were not able to go at his pace and he held back from slower people. He was very accommodating and a great spirit. Would recommend the tour to friends.
