We purchesed a NY Pass, and with it this Bike Rental is FREE. So we went to there to the 56 W 56th Street and in couple of minutes we are rided our bike. Everything goes so professional, well done! They were very helpful, and to this day I am very grateful to them for giving me unforgettable experiences that I will never forget. The park has its own internal bike path, with a slow and fast track! like a highway. With lights and traffic rules, very good. You can not ride anywhere across the park, because by bike is not allowed to ride into the grass. We took a ride all around the park then put them back and walked back to the park again. Was a memorable moments for both of us :):)

I came here to get some miles in when in NYC. I booked the bike online where they made it clear that I had to bring my own pedals, they would then fit them at an extra cost. I thought if I’m going to do this I may as well upgrade to the full carbon cannondale. I got to the shop only to be told they didn’t have the tools to fit the pedals and I would have to take the bike to their other location a couple of blocks away. Not too much of an issue as I got there early thinking it would take a little while to get things set up. I get to the next shop where I ask for the pedals to be fitted and get blanks looks. I may as well have asked if they could perform brain surgery on an ant. After 15 minutes of watching them struggle they had managed to remove the flat pedals but still could fit my pedals. At this point I got them to stick the flat pedals back on and rode Central Park in my cycle gear and a normal pair of shoes. The ride itself was enjoyable but I only managed 4 laps, I was hoping for 5. This was due to the lost time in the shop and other bookings I had later in the day. If you hire a road bike from this place just go for the basic cannondale caad. The upgrade is a complete waster if you shoes aren’t clipped in.

It was a perfect day to hire a bike and enjoy the autumnal splendour of Central park sunshine, clear blue skies and no wind. This was one of our favourite days activities. The staff were very helpful when renting out the bikes giving explanations and directions etc. The cycling was fine although busy in the park but the one way system seems to work once we got our head around it! The map provided was accurate and helpful. Drop off staff were busy and a bit harassed but easy to return bikes and we were reminded to collect ID. Would highly recommend this activity and a few post ride beers helped with the saddle soreness.
