Good. Experience is comparable to many city observatories elsewhere. The view was beautiful, but the price was a bit steep. Food (snacks) was very overpriced. The presentation at the beginning was a very pleasant surprise.

This was my first trip to NYC. The view from the top was outstanding. I had purchased a NYC experience ticket that included 911 museum, Statute of Liberty, Ellis Island visit, and a visit to the Observatory, The ride was fast. The initial experience at the top was a bit annoying. I had to weight to see a short film presentation that was sort of a dramatized reveal of the view(totally unneeded). I then had to wait in line to get a picture taken that I did not want. I then had to wait again to get a sales pitch for an iPad based tools that gave you any idea where all of the sites are located. $15, no thanks. 12 oz sodas were $5. To Disney Oriented/theme park oriented in the upsell. The 16.9 oz sodas at liberty island were $3.50 or so. Would I do it again? I am not sure. Would I eat at the restaurant ? I am not sure. The menu items are structured in way, that unless you know french, it is hard to tell what you are getting. It sounds fancy, but really is obfuscation.
