I've been to many observation towers, but I really didn't think much of this one. We bought the highest price tickets, which was supposed to include a private elevator, but the employee ushering people into elevators didn't even look or ask for our ticket and just put us in an elevator with other people anyway. I'm not one to complain, and usually I wouldn't have bought an expensive ticket, but did so at my partner's request as a special gift for him, even despite COVID, I thought this was pretty annoying to be disregarded when we paid so much for the ticket to have the little extra things like a private elevator. The iPad we were given either didn't work properly, or was completely undersold of how it was supposed to work. We were only given one for our pair (despite both of us having the same ticket), and when we clicked on landmarks it only showed the title, but gave no information about it. Clicking wasn't instant and was quite frustrating to use (we both work in tech fields, so we are not tech adverse). The views were merely okay. I much preferred the views of the city from a ferry on the river than from here. It was honestly kinda boring and definitely not worth the highest price ticket (the queue jump was irrelevant because, due to covid, there were hardly any people/tourists so there wasn't a queue TO jump anyway. My opinion on the price might change had there been more people and it be more worthwhile). I did enjoy the global welcome (I think that's what it was called) although there wasn't a lot of space and it didn't last very long, but it gave an instant breathtaking view for ten seconds when you first enter.

Love this observation deck and it's even better as it has a nar/restaurant/cafe too. Stunning views of the city. Well worth a trip up

The name of the company is “Skip The Line”. The $89 WILL NOT allow you to skip the line. Just for clarity. I suggest DO NOT buy the expensive Café food. Eat at nearby places. Otherwise, everything else is GREAT. Quick and easy access, smooth ride to the top, spectacular presentation, GREAT views of NYC.
