I went on the pub crawl throught the East Village with a friend hoping to meet so me good people and hit some cool bars. Objective acheived! The organiser was on top of his game. Friendly and orgnaised. The bars we visited were cool. The people on the crawl were friendly. One problem however... The crawl ended at Webster Hall. This sounds great eh? A massive club in NYC!! However, with a club so big, it is easy to lose the group and it's unlikely you're going to spend a lot of time wandering around looking for people you barely know. So, be prepared to not spend the entire night with your new buddies as there's a good chance you'll lose them and end up doing your own thing. I'd recommend ending the crawl in a smaller club or late bar so that everyone can spend most of the night together, if they chose.

I was staying in NYC for 6 nights and decided to attend the East village pub crawl to meet some new people because I went there just by myself. I guess we had a big group but I only got to talk to about 8 people. But these people were really great and we had a fantastic time in those bars and the club. We even decided to meet up again the next night to go see a Broadway show! All in all: A great opportunity to meet new people in this amazing city!

Decided to schedule the East Village pub-crawl last minute on a Saturday. The website was hard to navigate and there was no contact number, so we facebooked them. They were quick to respond with a website to submit payment (which made me a little nervous that we got ripped off, but it was $20 bucks so what the heck). When we arrived at the first meeting spot we did not seem to see anyone from the pub-crawl and then got really nervous. We managed to find another traveler who looked lost as well and then found the organizer hidden among the crowd. We checked in and got the run down. I was surprised that at many of the bars it included free shots (great deal for $20 bucks). The organizer was really nice and very informative, he also made a great effort to have everyone mix and mingle (the key to any successful pub crawl). The whole crawl went off without a hitch. It was very organized and no one managed to get lost or left behind (or I was too drunk to realize). We had pretty limited time at each bar, but it was enough for me to get nice and toasty (especially with free shots). We meet some awesome people from around the world and by the end of the night; we were drinking and partying together. We ended at Webster Hall (super easy to get in and no wait in line). Webster Hall was massive and I managed to get lost several times, only to find myself dancing with a random groups of people. I would highly recommend this pub-crawl. It was a great end to our NYC trip!
