This is guaranteed the best way to party/meet people in NYC. Originally I was going to do it myself, but after a few friends joined me in NY I saw it as an opportunity for us all to get out and experience the city's nightlife at a fraction of the cost. For the East Village crawl, it starts fairly calm at two pubs, picks up at the third, and then you end up at the pulse pounding Webster Hall. Since we were at Webster the night before (for a DJ show) we knew we'd have fun again going back. Drinks can be a bit pricey unless you stick to the specials, but after the free shots at the other bars, you'll only need a couple! Music variety at Webster is great, there's hip hop on the first floor, a massive room for a few DJ's to spin their music upstairs, and my favourite (where I spent the whole night) is the dubstep area downstairs. I'm not even a big dubstep fan and I was amazed at the energy and variety of the some of the best DJs and the crowd at this place. I'll definitely do it again the next time we're there, although we'll probably do the LES crawl to try something new.

Our Tour Guide Debbie was so cool and knowledgeable. The bars we went to were super interesting and the history of the Village was fascinating. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to NYC.

We had a great time, met some interesting people and went to places we wouldn't have found ourselves. Walking round West Village was something we hadn't done before and our guide was full of fun facts.The three pubs we visited were unique and the younger members of our group certainly made the most of them. At the end of the evening we returned to our hotel leaving the "young ones " to go on to a club. Altogether a fun evening but perhaps more suitable for younger travellers.
