This section is great for beginners or the experienced rafter with over 20 continuous class III & IV rapids. With plenty of places to surf and play, you’ll see why thousands of folks return year after year to raft this classic 5-mile run. Starting just below the Ocoee Dam No. 2, you’ll encounter your first big rapid, Grumpy’s, then its on to Broken Nose, Roller Coaster, Table Saw, Hell’s Hole and many more. Top that all off with a great place to swim about half way down and you’ll certainly become “one” with the river. Our wonderful river guides will help make your adventure one to remember.

Everyone at Cherokee Rafting was awesome from the people behind the counter to the bus driver to the guides. It was my daughters first time on the rapids and she had a blast! Big Cassie was an amazing guide. Thank you all!

Wow!!! First timers for us and it far exceeded any expectations we had, Josh our guide was a pro and made it look easy. We will definitely be back next year and Josh will be taking us down the river once again!! Heck even the short bus ride to the river was a blast. The entire operation was great, staff rocked it!! Thank you Cherokee rafting!!

The rapids were great. Guide Josh was masterfull. Cherokee Whitewater is a great company. I wholly recommend this tour.
