Olympic National Park Tour z Seattle

Przegląd
Olympic National Park is well known for having several different ecosystems to explore: subalpine forest, wildflower meadows, temperate rain-forest, and the rugged Pacific Shore. This twelve hour tour allows you to sample each of these systems with the added advantage of having an experienced guide to answer any questions that may arise. Come explore tide pools along the coastal beaches, roam among old-growth forest, trek atop mountain ridges with breathtaking vistas and stand by glacier-birthed rivers and lakes. The tour begins on a leisurely ferry boat ride over the Puget Sound to the Olympic Peninsula. The exact itinerary will be curated by the tour guide however our first stop will usually find us at Hurricane Ridge where you will hike to an incredible view of the valley below and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. We will move on to Crescent Lake and the seasonally Sol Duc Valley, and a sandy beach along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Please plan on walking six miles.

Kevin was a great guide! Only thing is I wish it was made a little more clear on how long it would take to get there. Spent four hours in the vehicle before making a stop. Outside of that great experience.

Pre-Tour: Plenty of text messages from operator regarding detailed pick-up times and details of the day ahead. Magic Day: Our day started with a pickup right in front of our downtown Seattle hotel. Kevin, our guide, was supper helpful, knowledgeable and informative. We took a short ferry ride across Puget sound and headed onto Olympic. Kevin took us to some amazing places inside the park. We evidently ended up on the coastline across from Victoria Canada. What a breath-taking view! Kevin made plenty of stops along the way for some short hikes to beautiful sites and some longer hikes for those who are up for more adventure. Hard to see all of this almost one-million-acre Nation Park, however we have seen enough to know we will be back. If time allowed, we would have booked a second day with this tour.
