Olympic National Park Tour z Seattle

Przegląd
Olympic National Park is well known for having several different ecosystems to explore: subalpine forest, wildflower meadows, temperate rain-forest, and the rugged Pacific Shore. This twelve hour tour allows you to sample each of these systems with the added advantage of having an experienced guide to answer any questions that may arise. Come explore tide pools along the coastal beaches, roam among old-growth forest, trek atop mountain ridges with breathtaking vistas and stand by glacier-birthed rivers and lakes. The tour begins on a leisurely ferry boat ride over the Puget Sound to the Olympic Peninsula. The exact itinerary will be curated by the tour guide however our first stop will usually find us at Hurricane Ridge where you will hike to an incredible view of the valley below and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. We will move on to Crescent Lake and the seasonally Sol Duc Valley, and a sandy beach along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Please plan on walking six miles.

Optional park stop. Fall is most likely time to stop. A very pretty waterfall, old growth forest with with areas exhibiting temperate rain forest. Seasonal Salmon runs too, in autumn. hiking or if you bring your swimsuit you can soak in hot springs.

Dungeness Recreation Area
Optional Stop: If tide or time tables are not conducive to stop at Salt Creek Recreation Area a stop at Dungeness Spit will replace it. Dungeness spit is also a great beach and wildlife sanctuary. Hike and enjoy.

optional stops depending the day, waterfalls, big trees, the largest dam removal and wildlife rehabilitation project in the world.

Washington State Ferries
We go back to Seattle by ferry and after a long day we often see the sunset over the waters. Seeing Seattle loom larger and larger is a great way to end the day. They serve beer and Ivars's clam chowder as well on board.

What a trip! Everything we could have asked for and Steve was amazing! He knew so much about the history, the land, trees, plants, tide pools - was a great orator! We had so much fun! Thank you!!!

Vistas were wonderful. Covered landscape and water views. Our guide Kevin gave a lot of history, information and stories related to the sights we saw. His humorous anecdotes made the tour even more interesting. Stops along the way provided all the amenities and were well-chosen. I suggest that you describe the level of exertion better, eg. elevation, incline and terrain. Also, it seems that to redeem awards, an account with Viator is required. If so, please remove this condition and any time constraints. Six months is too short. Thanks.

I went on this tour of Olympic National Park a month ago and didn’t write a review at the time, but I’ve been thinking about how memorable the trip was ever since. It left such a lasting impression that I had to come back and share how incredible the experience was! Well worth the time and money. It was easily one of the highlights of my Seattle trip.
