End another perfect day in Orange Beach, AL with a sunset cruise! Our two-hulled sailboat offers a smooth, stable ride as we sail off into a gorgeous golden sunset. This two-hour sail is aboard the Cetacean, a 52-foot Hawaiian catamaran, and we skim along the back bays of Orange Beach, Alabama and Perdido Key, Florida.
Besides watching the stunning sunset, keep a lookout for marine life and coastal wildlife. We often see bald eagles, seagulls, herons, and osprey flying near the boat, schools of fish swimming underneath the boat, and a sighting of some of the dolphins in our resident pod. You cannot forget to bring a camera for this Orange Beach/ Gulf Shores sunset sail!

We also have a full-service cocktail bar available for purchase on board!

Great crew! Saw lots of dolphins! Very relaxing. Enjoyed meeting new people and listening to music. Only wish I wasn’t just in the bay. Would have liked a little sea.

We took the sunset sailing cruise and loved it! Captain Johnny was awesome and the staff was great! We saw several dolphins, and they put on a show for us! The sunset view sailing back to dock was absolutely gorgeous. This was our first outing with Cetacean but definitely won’t be our last!

Of the several things we planned for our 52nd Anniversary, our Sunset Sailing Cruise out of Orange Beach turned out to be the crown jewel. It’s a marvelous experience on its own, but 3 specific people made the experience Five Star. First encounter was with Lisa who called ahead of time and moved us from our original booking do the Sunset Sail, I think her intuition and professionalism knew that an Anniversary couple would find this more romantic and fun. We agreed and boy was Lisa spot on. Her knowledge, approach and professionalism are unmatched. The facilities while you wait to depart are nice and managed down to the minute. During boarding Lexi ( 1st Mate) handled the processes and gave everyone a warm and sincere greeting. She is a multi-tasker from another planet; handling the ordering and serving of the drink service as well as tough physical duties as the 1st Mate. Always smiling, proactively helpful and instructive. And Captain Johnny… phenominally skilled at handling the vessel, super helpful in sharing knowledge. From the opening briefing to docking in the slip he had great information about the environment, current sailing conditions. Johnny made sure we had many dolphin sightings and upon return we encountered an incredible fiery and brilliant sunset, He brought the ship to a near stand-still so that everyone could get lots a great picture and just drink all that natural beauty in. It has been said that if you love what you do, you never work a day in your life. Lisa, Johnny and Lexi make that so clearly true. All professional, passionate and skilled at what they do. If we lived in the Orange Beach area we would cruise with these folks at least once per month. These folks made it that good!
