The Original Sea Cave Kayak Tour (90 Minutes in Length) offers unforgettable guided tours through the La Jolla Ecological Reserve. Each tour is lead by experienced guide(s) who ensure participants safely navigate through the unique ecological habitats while seeing different types of marine life.

This highly-protected and unique area boasts one of the highest concentrations of sea-life in the West Coast. Guests commonly encounter seals, sea lions, and a multitude of birds and fish, and lucky guests might even see dolphins or whales!

Towards the southern end of the Ecological Reserve, La Jolla's Seven Sea Caves patiently await, allowing participants to witness their beauty. Weather permitting, participants can kayak through the large sea cave that goes from the ocean into the Emerald Cove.
Entry into the Emerald Cave depends on the safety, and is not guaranteed. Participants must be five years or older to participate in the tour.

Valid for up to two people to ride in a double kayak.

We had an awesome time despite arriving a little late to our tour, EC waiting for us and allowed us to join. We didn’t have time to put on our wet suits so we were drenched!! (All part of the fun!!) Our tour guides were great too!! Thanks EC

A ton of fun! Phil & Christian were great guides that made the experience amazing! We were able to see a dozen or more dolphins, and at least one hundred sea lions as well. Lot's of fun padding out into the ocean as a group, and getting to enter into one of the caves in our Kayaks!

Getting out in the ocean in the kayak and going into the cave. Traffic jam of kayaks by the caves. After overturning on the return we were soaked and very cold. Are towels or a blanket a possibility to wrap up until we return paddles and helmets. You

Thank you for our review! Spring break season was cold, wet and windy for everybody this year... We offer a wide array of rentals and purchases to address the needs of our customers. We rent wetsuits and neoprene shoes to stay warm on the water as well as towels, blankets and cozy clothing available for purchase in our shop!
