Experience yoga while floating on the crystal clear waters of Honolulu, Hawaii. Standup paddleboard yoga is a unique adventure that combines the physical challenges of practicing yoga on a paddleboard with the majestic beauty of Hawaii’s oceans and shorelines. Classes available for all levels. Small group sizes ensure personalized attention from our highly qualified instructors, allowing each student to work at their own ability level. The SUP yoga classes include many familiar yoga poses adapted to the water. Most of the poses are done seated, kneeling, or lying down, with a few standing poses as well to work on balance and core stability. Free time is incorporated into each class, giving students a chance to try any poses they would like to work on. Classes end with traditional savasana, a meditation experienced lying on the board with the soft rocking of the oceans waves, fingers and toes trailing into the water, and the mind free to relax and let go.

We had such a great time with this class! Our instructor, Kelsey, led us through challenging but fun moves and took pictures the whole time. She made sure we had an amazing time and lots of great memories. We had a variety of yoga skill levels in our group and everyone had fun, and some of us got wet. Would definitely take this class again!!!

I LOVED the class, I would recommend it to anyone who wants a different yoga experience, it was my first time trying SUP yoga and cannot wait to do it again, Kelsey was very patient and encouraged us to push ourselves to the next level. She took amazing pictures of us and to be honest I didn't expect them to be posted a couple of hours later (she made sure to post the best shots).

What an intro to the world of Standup Paddle Boarding! To do my favourite exercise regimen in the gentle lapping of the ocean waves, the wind in my hair, the sights and sounds of Ala Moana beach and coast encouraging me to be one with nature and immerse into my innermost source of joy. Kelsey is the most wonderful, nurturing, gentle and unassuming instructor for this first time experience for all of us in that class. She took so many photos for us and was instrumental to me inspiring hundreds others (I am 61years old Chinese lady travelling alone, but have many following my solo trips through social media) Thank you so much Yoga Floats!! I am truly grateful for that blessed morning on Magic Island!!
