Pearl Harbor USS Arizona Memorial i pancernik Missouri

Przegląd
Visit USS Arizona and Battleship Missouri, as they represent both the beginning and the end of World War II. The accompanying “Road to War” and “Attack” exhibit galleries that display pictures and recovered items from the events which transpired at Pearl Harbor and WWII. Then, watch a short film explaining the fateful day and its significance. Followed by a boat ride to the USS Arizona Memorial, the final resting place of the ship's 1,177 crewmen.

USS Missouri has served proudly through WWII, the Korean War, and the Gulf War for a 51-year long career. Launched from the Naval Shipyard in Brooklyn in 1944.

Great experience!! Our driver was Clift, he was very informative and friendly. Not big on these kinds of tours but he made it fun!! Pearl Harbor of course was awesome and we did the Missouri for the first time which was cool!! Definitely recommend!

This national memorial was somber and moving. Our tour guide spent most of the drive to this site talking about Honolulu's public transportation - why? He dropped us off for the first half of our morning so we were left on our own to navigate the museum, movie, boat ride to the Arizona, and walk around the site. We managed but with more angst than I expect from a tour. We had an hour with nothing to do waiting for the second part of this tour. The drive back was better with insights of Honolulu and commentary. Honestly, We could have seen Pearl Harbor & the Missouri without this tour. We've done several great TripAdvisor recommended tours but this one lacked.

Not as much time in the Arizona Memorial as I would like but understand it is a burial site. Please treat it as such. One would not clown around at the burial site of a loved one. Please treat it as the burial site of the over 900 who remain.
