Pearl Harbor USS Arizona Memorial i pancernik Missouri

Przegląd
Visit USS Arizona and Battleship Missouri, as they represent both the beginning and the end of World War II. The accompanying “Road to War” and “Attack” exhibit galleries that display pictures and recovered items from the events which transpired at Pearl Harbor and WWII. Then, watch a short film explaining the fateful day and its significance. Followed by a boat ride to the USS Arizona Memorial, the final resting place of the ship's 1,177 crewmen.

USS Missouri has served proudly through WWII, the Korean War, and the Gulf War for a 51-year long career. Launched from the Naval Shipyard in Brooklyn in 1944.

Anthony our tour guide for the day did a great job telling all about the history of the time. We were picked up on time and got an extra benefit when he took us to the naval museum since the planes are out of the hanger.

I learned a few details that I didn’t know about during the ride to Pearl Harbor. Anthony the tour director was a font of information. Since the tour director can’t accompany while the group is in Pearl Harbor (USN) we had to note when things began. We did see the USS Arizona and USS Missouri but lost the group. Anthony met up with me, however I opted to go by uber to the beach. Looking back, making print-out of a suggested schedule would have helped me be with the group.
